Women are noted for carrying along with themselves fruit of good behaviour. No wonder they have great responsibility of moulding the character of their children in a much precise manner.

Mgbagbu-Owa women are now assuming greater responsibilities. Women have essential and fundamental role to offer towards moral development in my community. In the word of T. Idoun (ed) the removing or neglecting of women and their morals would beget moral decadence and the society will collapse. Women are endowed with qualities which are

capable of sustaining a moral standard in the community. Their humanity as a quality can reduce the desperate aim which leads a community to mistakes and regrets. Women are inherent qualities that are capable of presenting them as role models in the community for moral development. It is nice to understand also that careful handling of children to pass

good moral on them cannot deprive of women, like people say training the children in the way they should go, so that when they grow they will not depart away from it. Without the good morals of women children cannot grow in a normal way. Domestically women are guardian of morality. Women also help in character moulding of children and made our young ones imbibe such virtues as honesty, truth, obedience and a host of others.

The nature of our society has seriously affected the role of women in the area and many have failed to pass their natural moral which are the inherent qualities as a role model both Religious and Educational. The recent change of behaviour played by women was seriously questioned due to the inability of passing real moral to the younger generation.
